The engineer behind the systems.
I'm Keanu Shirani. I've spent two years as an engineering and business intern at Ethernovia, where I am the primary engineer building ten articulated robotic arms. I created and direct HOUSE, a CPU-first simulation and agent-evaluation framework, and I am enrolled in SVCTE's year-long Applied AI program. NOUMENAX is the name for my engineering work and the questions I want to spend time on. It is a personal portfolio, not a staffed research company.
THE MEANING OF NOUMENAX
A contemporary coined nameNOUMENAX
noo-muh-naks · noun
“One who seeks mastery over the fundamental nature of reality through intelligence, creation, and engineering.”
NOUMENAX is a coined name derived from two concepts:
01 / Etymological root
NOUMENON
A philosophical term associated with Immanuel Kant, describing a thing as it exists independently of human perception.
02 / Etymological root
ANAX(ἄναξ)
Ancient Greek for lord, master, or sovereign.
Together, these roots symbolically represent the pursuit of understanding and shaping reality through intelligence.
NOUMENAX is a newly coined name, not an established ancient Greek word.
THE PHILOSOPHY
“Intelligence should not merely observe the world. It should possess the ability to shape it.”
This philosophy connects directly to my work in artificial intelligence, robotics, simulation, and autonomous systems.
INTELLIGENCE MADE SOVEREIGN.
Personal philosophy
Intelligence matters more when it can act.
I'm interested in the point where software has to deal with the physical world. A decision becomes more interesting when it has to move an object, share a workspace, or hold up outside a controlled test.
That is why I keep coming back to simulation and robotics. I want to build systems whose behavior I can inspect, test, and eventually put to useful work. The ambition is long-term. The work needs to be concrete.
Intelligence Made Sovereign.

Precision, practiced twice.
I play first chair in my orchestra. Music and robotics feel pretty similar to me. You fix a lot of small things over and over until it finally works the way you want.
When you lead a section, you're listening to everyone at once and keeping them together. Music taught me about timing, listening, and being patient when something takes a hundred tries.
